Terms of Service

By accessing or using The Quiet Investor (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

The Quiet Investor is a research and analytics platform for long-term investors. It provides company data, valuation estimates, screening, portfolio tracking, and AI-generated commentary for informational and educational purposes only. The Service is not a broker-dealer or investment adviser, does not execute trades or hold custody of assets, and does not provide personalized investment advice. Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; see the privacy notice for how we handle your data on deletion.

The Service offers a Free tier and a paid Premium plan ($5/month or $50/year, USD). Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Merchant of Record). Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. Prices and plan features may change with notice.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: scraping or bulk-extracting data, attempting to access non-public areas or other users’ data, reselling or redistributing the data or AI output as a competing product, interfering with the platform’s operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

The Service, its software, design, and platform-authored content are owned by The Quiet Investor and its licensors. Market and fundamental data is provided by third parties and remains subject to their rights. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial research.

The Service and all data, valuations, and AI output are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Data may be delayed, restated, or contain errors, and AI-generated content may be incomplete or wrong. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Quiet Investor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy or sell any security; you are solely responsible for your investment decisions.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or where required to protect the Service or comply with law.
